Dear friends and volunteers:
The 5th annual DB Pool Party will be held on Saturday June 27. We’ll have pizza, chicken wings, salads and sides, along with plenty of goodies and drinks. You are encouraged to bring along a salad, side dish or dessert for the buffet. The pool and outdoor Jacuzzi are heated. There is a ramp for wheelchairs to get from the pool to the house where the buffet and bar will be set up. We’ll try to have the two-seat trike available for rides. As always, folks from other states are welcome, but you must provide your own transportation. If you live in southeast PA and need a ride, let me know.
On a side note, we are tentatively planning to do a bus trip to Dorney water and theme park in Allentown, PA on August 15 or 22. More on that in a month or so.
DB Pool Party
When: Saturday, June 27 from 12:00 to 5:00.
Where: 2201 Locust Drive, Lansdale, PA 19446. We’ll be around the pool in the back and have food and drinks just inside the glass door on the patio. Guests can park along Morris Road near the fence with American flags and come in through the backyard gate down there or drive around to the front and park along the circle on Locust Dr.
There is a bathroom and changing room near the patio door for anyone that wants to use the pool or Jacuzzi. The pool has stairs and a railing and is five feet deep at the deepest point, three feet in the shallow areas. And if we get a passing shower, there is an awning and a covered patio.
Admission is free.
